The company's president, Joshua Onysko, founded the company after a bonding project with his mother. They made some hand soap together and when he gave it to friends they went crazy for the stuff. As they say the rest is history.

Pangea Organics was founded in 2000 and now it's products are found in Whole Foods, Vitamin Cottage and select Sprouts stores.

All of the products made by Pangea Organics are made by hand. They don't use petroleum, sulfates, detergents or other synthetic ingredients. Instead, their entire line of skin and body care products are made with pure and natural ingredients, which are easy for the body to absorb and assimilate, something the company calls Biocompatible Hydration.

Pangea Organics uses a special process to extract oils from plants from around the world to create the aromas.

The company was also the first beauty company to introduce biodegradable, compostable and plantable packaging.

Pangea Organics was recently selected as one of the 50 Colorado Companies to Watch by the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade. Every Thursday 9NEWS reports about another company, highlighting its success in this difficult economy.
