The nine puppies and two adults have been taken in by Wolfwood Refuge and Adoption Center.

The puppies are all under 10 weeks old. They lived in captivity on short chains and most are sick.

Wolfwood will be their permanent home will they'll be allowed to roam more freely once their health is back on track.

The refuge is looking for people or organizations to sponsor a puppy.
